Kenyoku

19 March 2020 By ReikiJane

I am often asked how to perform dry bathing (Kenyoku) when learning Reiki and what is lovely about this exercise is that anyone can do it – you don’t have to be studying Reiki or know anything about Reiki. It can be used when you are feeling tense, stressed, or want to relax – for example, before bedtime to clear any negative energy from your aura and help with your relaxation process.

It is good to use Kenyoku when you are (or have been) in a negative situation or environment.

24 July 2016 By ReikiJane

What is a ‘spot’ treatment? A ‘spot’ treatment is used to target a specific problem or issue.  Instead of giving a full Reiki treatment to your horse, you simply treat the area that needed healing energy. What are the benefits of a spot treatment? Spot treatments are really useful as they can be carried out very… Read more

Giving distant Reiki to your horse

24 May 2016 By ReikiJane

Horses decide whether they want you to put your hands on them when giving Reiki.  Often my new equine clients are unsure of the energy and don’t want to come too close as they sense the different energy and this can take some getting used to.  As Reiki flows to where it is intended and… Read more

Connecting with your horse using Reiki

10 April 2016 By ReikiJane

Mutual trust When you are using Reiki for the first time with your horse, he or she will be aware of the energy and as something different.  Your horse can take to the ‘new’ energy straight away and know exactly how it will help, or it will be a little nervous about what the energy… Read more
