What is a ‘spot’ treatment?
A ‘spot’ treatment is used to target a specific problem or issue. Instead of giving a full Reiki treatment to your horse, you simply treat the area that needed healing energy.
What are the benefits of a spot treatment?
Spot treatments are really useful as they can be carried out very quickly and be effective for a lot of issues and problems that you might have when you are with your horse (or for humans as well of course!). Give it a try and see what happens!
How do I perform a spot treatment?
You go through your normal protection, grounding and cleansing ritual (only taking a few minutes) then attune to the Reiki energy, visualising and feel the radiant Reiki energy flowing out through your hands. Next you would place your hands where the problem is (or at the appropriate Chakra energy centre) and intend the Reiki energy to go where it is needed. Once the energy has stopped flowing, take your hands away and go through your usual disconnection process.
