How is a distant Reiki treatment carried out?
Distant Reiki treatments are carried out remotely – you do not have to be with the Reiki Practitioner in order to receive the healing. You can simply sit or lie down at home in a quiet place for the required time in order to ‘receive’ the healing Reiki energy.
It is a great way to have a treatment if you are house-bound, short of time or cannot travel. Distant Reiki treatments are as effective and helpful as face to face treatments as the healing energy used is the same as when you have an in-person Reiki treatment.
What can a distant Reiki treatment help with?
Distant Reiki can help:
- generally improve relaxation
- to reduce stress
- to boost energy
- relieve tension with physical, mental or emotional issues
- any situation in the future such as an interview, important event or anything you feel you need additional support with
- your pets and animals
How does a Distant Reiki Treatment work?
There are two ways that Reiki Jane can provide distant Reiki for humans as well as pets and other animals, either a Mini Top-up Distant Reiki Treatment or a Personalised Reiki Treatment. Both types of Reiki treatments will focus on your specific requirements. Prices quoted are for humans and animals.
Making a Distant Reiki Appointment
Once payment has been received, you will be able to download a word document where you can add your details and provide information about any physical, emotional or spiritual issue that you would like to focus on during the treatment. Once the form has been returned via email, a date and time will be scheduled when the Reiki treatment will be carried out for you, the same as if you were attending an in-person appointment.
How to receive the Distant Reiki Treatment
- Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
- Turn off TV, mobile devices, anything that will distract you.
- At the allotted appointment time, on the next breath in, close your eyes.
- Let any thoughts that you have, just float past, as if on clouds (they will return when you are finished, if you need them).
- Now say to yourself ‘I am now ready to receive my Reiki treatment from Reiki Jane’.
- Your Reiki Master will proceed to give you the distant Reiki treatment for the agreed length of the appointment.
- At the end of the treatment, your Reiki Master will disconnect from the Reiki energy. You might feel that something has changed. Or you might have drifted off (which is a good thing)!
- When you are ready bring yourself back into your normal day, but don’t rush to get up until you feel ready.
- Take a couple of sips of water as this will help to ground you.
PLEASE NOTE:
It is important that you:
- Rest as much as possible directly after the treatment.
- Keep sipping water as this helps to cleanse the body of stuck energy and will help to increase the power of the Reiki energy.
- Eat light meals, avoid alcohol and take things easy for the next 24 hours.
